Hi, Reader! As you know, I've been on a big health journey in the last year. And though I've always loved to snack on my dehydrated foods, I've been making a concerted effort to give myself healthier options to curb the craving of the salty crunchy monster or the sweet tooth late in the evening. Do you have that problem? What's your weakness when it comes to snacking? How I Give in to the CravingsI spend a lot of time making vegetable chips to help with those nagging cravings I get. Bonus is that I can add much needed fiber to the diet without having to rely so much on fiber supplements. And if you're a protein girlie like I've become in the last year, you know that fiber is SUPER IMPORTANT to help the pipes ;) That's why I love making jicama chips - 6.5 grams of fiber for every 1/4 cup of dehydrated chips! What I LearnedWhile I do veggie chips all through the year - I found a new favorite - and I'm not even going to ask you to click a link or watch a video for it! āBalsamic Reduction Glaze on cucumbers and zucchini chips. š While I've linked it to my Amazon store, you can probably find an option at your local grocery store. You can probably use regular balsamic vinegar, but I keep this sauce on hand for drizzling on salads and chicken. It's perfect for cutting the bitterness that can come with cucumbers and zucchini when they are dried. They are the best thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More Vegetable Chip Flavor Ideasā
